We accept news and information on the following
topics:

General News: Announcements that
are related directly to the game itself.

Community News: Announcements
that are related to the AO community.

S & S Info: Information about
game Statistics or Strategies. If you think you have
some information that would add something to what we
already have or are missing, then feel free to send
that in.

Event News: You know where to
find a player-run or ARK-run event that we don't have
in the news. Please send us the server, location,
time of the event in GMT (UTC), name of the event
producer, website URL and detailed description.
What we don't want to receive:
- Huge pictures. Anything over 100kb is considered huge.
Make sure that you have the picture saved in .jpg format
to save bandwidth and diskspace. If you have several,
or larger, pictures please ask us first.
- Word documents. Or any other format for that matter.
Please use plain text, without formatting. Our editors
are quite capable of formatting the text you send us.
- Rants about something horrible that happened to you
in game. There is nothing we can do for you.
- Ideas to improve the game. If you have ideas you want
to share with others then please post them on the Ideas
Forum so others can read your proposal.
- Questions about how to play the game, or about game
mechanics. All the information we have can be found on
the website. If you still have questions after reading
our information then please call for Advisor help in-game
or contact Funcom customer support via email.

Please use the following direct email shortcuts to send
news, information and announcements to us at AO Stratics.
Please make sure you give us all relevant information such
as: Date, Time, Time Zone, Server,
Faction, Location (Coordinates or City), Submitter's
Name and URL. (only if applicable of
course)
For Screenshot of the Day submissions, please note the
following:
- We accept images of the size 800x600 pixels (or close
to that) only. Any images which are larger or smaller
than this size will not be used.
- Please convert the file to JPG. We do not want PNG or
GIF images for SoD submissions. If you can, rename the
image to something short and descriptive of the content
of the picture, e.g. atrox_in_thong_800.jpg
- Please note the 800 in the filename. This is neccessary
to keep an overview of the pictures since we need to create
a thumbnail aswell (which has 150 in the filename instead
of the 800)
- Please do NOT submit images that have open menus and
chat text in them. We only accept images without any open
menus (the new GUI can be visible, but if possible, deactivate
that aswell before taking the picture. Use Shift+T for
this.)
- Chat text in the picture is not wanted. We don't want
to have other readers see what you and friends were talking
about during the photoshoot.
- For best possible results, set all visual settings to
the maximum for the duration of the photoshoot. Anarchy
Online has great graphics and the Screenshots of the Day
should honour them.
- Include the following information in your screenshot
submission: Submitter's character name, Caption
(a short 3-word description of what the image shows)
