The Floating City of Jobe

The city of Jobe is quite a fantastic story. It was founded – built – by a group of rogue Omni-Tek scientists, a group who preferred the life of neutrality rather than employment with the Corporation.

They used their brilliant minds to construct a city quite unlike any other in the entire galaxy, a city floating in thin air, hovering silently above the landscape.

Within the confines of their own city, they were left to themselves; beyond the control of the Corporation, and they established a free trading post and continued to conduct their own advanced research.

Now, Jobe is the home of the planet’s most advanced nanotechnology. Through that technology, the scientists have managed to drill a dimensional hole into the Shadowlands and opened a gateway into the distant past of the human race. Jobe is about to open its doors to the general population, and to share their wonders with the rest of the world.
