All of us have had the pleasure to experience the Anarchy Online
music ingame. The dynamically "put-together" music ingame
is one of the best features of the game. While the music itself
is found within the install directory as many small pieces, the
game puts these pieces together to play the theme for the current
location/day time/faction etc. and plays them as seemingly 1 file.
While some music might be rather well known (the Omni-1 Entertainment
theme or the Victory Battle Theme), some of these musical gems are
heard not so often ingame, like the Open Plains, Ocean Waves or
Mountain View.
In addition to these ingame music files, Funcom has released an
official Soundtrack CD with concert versions of many of these ingame
themes. 2 of them have been provided by Funcom for fansites to be
published. These are the OT Theme concert version and the Clan Theme
concert version. Both of them are very well done and reflect the
overall atmosphere of both factions.
The music files were originally put together by SoundJudgment
of the website Soundpeaks.com.
On this site you can now find all the tracks in MP4 and WMA 9 encoding,
which - according to Sound Judgement, results in a better sounding

While the remaining files on this page are mostly from ingame music,
the ARK Theme has been specifically composed for the Funcom ARK
program (volunteer Customer Service program) to show the ARKs the
appreciation of their work by Funcom. The file was published on
the ARK forums shortly after release, when the ARKs had a ton of
petitions and abuse by players to overcome because of the bad launch
of AO.
